0202: 17 woodcuts (series of 3 images and 2 different covers), CHATS, in a cardboard folder with “CHATS” written on in pencil. The images are CAT on roof (8), CAT with lamp post(7), and CAT on carpet (13). See also 0006 from the same series but not in the cardboard folder. The folder also contains 7 cover pages with two smaller woodcuts on, and 3 cover pages with “Poème de Charles Baudelaire CHATS” in typography which says that 6 examples of the series were printed by l’ENSAAD on 9th November 1949. Part of the works which Françoise submitted to Brussels for her Distinction and Mastery in book illustration (see note 3)

0204: 10 woodcuts (5 different images), DE WANDELENDE JOOD (The Wandering Jew), in two paper booklets each containing four of the prints (all loose) which are titled: ‘Ahasverus en de nazarener’, ‘Ahasverus op weg naar de hel’, ‘Ahasverus op weg den hemel’, ‘Ahasverus onder de menschen’. As well as a woodcut, each print has the image title and some Flemish text in typography. They are on folded sheets of paper with Flemish text and page numbers on some of the other sides. The booklet cover has the title, a woodcut, and the name of the author (August Vermeylen)

0205: 13 lithographs (8 different images), L’IDIOT, (Dostoievski), in a paper folder with the title and a smaller version of one of the images on it. The folder contains 13 mounted prints and an inside sheet with typography which says there are three copies, all printed on 17th October at the National High School of Architecture and Decorative Arts of Brussels. Some of the prints have colourwash. Part of the works which Françoise submitted to Brussels for her Distinction and Mastery in book illustration (see note 3)

0207: 7 pen and brush drawings (all different and in print form), L’ÉTRANGE AVENTURE DE PIERRE L’IMAGIER, in a cardboard folder with the title and “Racontée tant bien que mal par Serge Creuz” in typography. The drawings are on loose numbered sheets which are folded in book form and below each is some French text in typography. There are two inside covers each with text. The last sheet has typography which says this was printed on 4th May 1945 at the National High School of Architecture and Decorative Arts of Brussels and is example number three

0209: 14 pen and wash drawings (all different), CHEMIN DE CROIX, (Stations of the Cross), in a book of that title with a drawing for each of the fourteen stations. Each drawing has a title and on the opposite page an extract from the Psalms. Two examples were printed at L’Abbaye de La Cambre, the other copy being the property of Joris Minne, at least at the end of 1944

0210: 10 engravings (all different), FLOERE HET FLUWIJN, (Door Ernest Claes, Flemish writer), in a paper folder with the title in typography. The folder contains a title sheet with one of the images (smaller than the others) together with three pages of typography in Flemish and the other nine images – all of animals – with a sheet at the end in typography (Flemish) which gives a print date by E.N.S.A.A.D. in Brussels of 29th February 1945

0212: 1 engraving, NOEL DU XVIe SIÈCLE, two identical folders with paper stuck on the front with the title including “Collection des Poèmes Français”. Each folder contains an inside cover with the title in typography, various pages of text in typography (folded in book form), the image on a folded sheet – a group of five men walking (the same as 0068) – and a sheet at the end in typography which gives the print date by E.N.S.A.A.D. in Brussels as “le jour de la Saint Benoit Fabre”. On one of the end sheets Françoise wrote in pencil “à Ken, Françoise, 8 Fevrier 46”
